Choir Tour 2009

0 min read
Tour was spectacular! Our Aglow youth choir performed for churches, youth groups, retirment homes, and a women's shelter. The women's shelter was my favorite concert becuase they seemed to need our powerful message of metamorphosis the most. You can sing at churches all you want, to people living comfortable, harmless lives. However, until you share the Gospel with abused and homeless women needing to know that they are truly and deeply loved,it's difficult to see the meaning behind the music.

Wanna Be Techie

0 min read
Teching has always fascinated me. The costumes, the lighting, the sets. Yesterday I took a whack at set construction by volunteering at The Little Theater. The production they are doing is called "Into the Woods" which is like a mish mask of fairy tales. My friend Perri and I spent a better part of the afternoon paper mache-ing brown wallpaper over chicken wire forms to create the illsion of earth and rocks. It was rather enjoyable and I can't wait to go back on Saturday. Hopefully, at some point, I can volunteer for the costume deparment, in addition.
